How the Message Center Works in Your IDX Panel?

🌟 Welcome! The Message Center is an essential tool that helps you track all email notifications sent by the system, both to you and your leads. Here, you’ll find alerts about new leads, contact forms, property information requests, billing updates, and more. Additionally, your leads receive automated updates if they’ve saved searches or properties.

You can easily access these messages in your IDX control panel under Messages in the main menu and Message Center in the submenu.

✉️ Exploring the Email Tab

In the Email tab, you’ll see a detailed list of all messages related to your account. To review a specific message, click on its subject line.

Key Features:
  • Sort Messages: Organize messages by date, subject, or status.
  • Mark as Read/Unread: Keep track of which messages you’ve reviewed.
  • Filter Messages Use the Filter Messages option in the top-right corner to refine the list.
For Example
  • Sent to Me: Includes notifications about new leads, account updates, billing reminders, and support emails.
  • Sent by Me Displays verification emails and property updates sent to your leads.
Tracking Engagement

To the right of each email, you’ll see columns indicating whether the message was opened and if the lead clicked on any links. This feature helps you identify the most active leads, making it easier to prioritize follow-ups.

📲 Reviewing the SMS Tab

In the SMS tab, you’ll find a list of all text messages related to your account, including lead notifications. Each entry shows the lead’s name, email address, and phone number (if provided). This tool is perfect for staying connected with leads who prefer text communication.

⚠️ Important Considerations

  • Message Archiving: Messages older than 30 days are automatically archived and will no longer be available in the Message Center. If you need access to older messages, make sure to download or save them before they are archived.
  • Engagement Tracking: Use open and click-through data to identify the most interested leads. This information allows you to tailor your follow-up strategy.
  • Filtering for Efficiency: Take advantage of filtering options to focus on specific types of messages, such as new lead notifications or billing updates.

  • Save Important Messages If you need to retain certain messages, download or save them before they are automatically archived.
