1. Access the Platform

    Log in to your IDXAddons account

    In the dashboard, select the Popular Searches app.

  2. Install the Code Snippet

    The first thing you need to do when entering the app is go to Initial Settings. The first step is to install the code snippet in the subheader of IDX Broker to track the most popular searches on your website.

    Copy the code snippet and go to IDX Broker Sub-Headers > Categories > Results

    Ensure the option Turn WYSIWYG Off is selected

    Then paste the code snippet and save the changes.

    Important: The widget will appear empty at first, as it needs traffic to store information. Only searches with more than 1 view will be shown.

  3. Widget Settings

    In the next section, Widget Settings, you can customize how the widget appears on your site:

    • Number of Searches: You can choose how many popular searches to display, ranging from 1 to 20 searches.
    • Design: Select the widget design that best fits your needs. You can choose between:
      • Table
      • Cards
  4. Copy Code Snippet

    Once enough data has been gathered and popular searches start to generate, you can copy the code snippet. Paste this code wherever you'd like the widget to appear on your website.
