Prerequisites: Before guiding your clients through the process, ensure that they have the following

  • IDX Broker account: Make sure your client has an IDX Broker Account.
  • HighLevel Sub-Account:Set up a sub-account in highlevel for this IDX Broker Account.
  • CNAME Configuration: Set up a custom subdomain for your client, so instead of using yourdomain.idxbroker.com, it will appear as homes.yourdomain.com.

  1. Sign Up for a One-Click Website

    To purchase a template, start by logging into your IDXAddons account using your client IDX Broker API credentials. Once logged in, navigate to this link. On the page, click the "Buy Template" button to proceed to the payment page.

    Important: Ensure HTTPS is enabled on your IDX Broker account to avoid security issues and ensure IDXAddons apps function correctly.

    To enable HTTPS:

    1. Log in to your client IDX Broker account.
    2. Go to Account info and enable HTTPS.
    3. Save your changes.
  2. Complete the multi-step form

    After completing your payment, you’ll be redirected to the multi-step form page. Click on "Start Now" to begin the setup process.

    Select a name for your website and click on "Next".

    Select the apps that you want to add to your HighLevel website. You can select all of them or just the ones you want.

    Connect HighLevel Sub-Account

    Connect your HighLevel account to enable the creation of custom values in your sub-account. Click on "Connect HighLevel" to proceed, then select the appropriate sub-account from the list.

    You’ll be presented with a list of your HighLevel forms. Choose the form you want to use for IDX Broker lead capture, and then click "Next."

    Community pages

    Select a primary community for your website. This will be the main city or county featured prominently. The available options are pulled from your MLS. We will create an IDX Broker Saved Link for this location and, for IDX Broker Platinum clients, a dedicated community page as well.

    Select two secondary communities for your website. We will generate IDX Broker Saved Links and create community pages for these locations as well (available for IDX Broker Platinum clients).

    After clicking "Next," the process will begin to create your IDX Broker Saved Links and community pages, set up the widgets, and establish the Custom Values in your HighLevel sub-account.

    After sending the data to HighLevel, the IDXAddons page will reload, and you will see the newly created values.

  3. Clone the template

    At the end of the multi-step form, you'll receive a link to clone the website. To begin, log in at https://app.gohighlevel.com/ using your HighLevel credentials.

    Note: Logging in through a white-label domain might cause issues with the cloning link. For best results, make sure to use app.gohighlevel.com to clone the website.

    After opening the link, you'll be directed to the website clone page. Simply click "Add Website" to complete the process.

    A popup will appear with the Website Name prefilled. You can change the name if desired.

    Select the location or sub-account where the website will be cloned and click on "Clone Website".

    After clicking "Clone Website," you’ll be redirected to the Websites page. You’ll see a spinning icon next to your new website, showing it's being created.

    If the icon keeps spinning for over 3 minutes, refresh the page. The icon will disappear once the website is ready.

    Important:

    • If your MLS approval is not complete, some widgets will not display properly, e.g. Google Map Widget, IDX Broker New Widgets.
    • The IDX Integration usually takes 2 business days to be completed.
  4. Domain Setup

    Follow this tutorial to set up a root domain for your client's website, or watch this 3-minute video tutorial.

  5. Create Admin user

    Go to Settings -> My Staff, then click on the Add Employee button.

    Create the user with the email address info@realtycandy.com

    Make sure to select the user role as Admin.

  6. Send required information

    Email us at info@realtycandy.com with:

    • IDX Broker username and password – We'll verify everything on the IDX side.
    • Primary City and 2 Secondary Cities within your MLS.
    • Logo – We’ll use the one from your HighLevel sub-account or update it with the image URL or file you provide.
    • Contact Information (email, phone, address, social media) – This will appear on your website and IDX Broker pages.
    • Images for the Hero section or community (city) displays.
  7. Review Timeline

    The website will be ready for review in 1-2 business days.

  8. One-Click Website completed

    Congratulations! You now have a HighLevel website connected to IDXBroker. The next step is to install the HighLevel Dashboard, which will allow you to monitor your website traffic directly within your HighLevel account.
